    Field Data Cabling Engineer

    Working Hours:

    We seek a skilled and dedicated Data Cabling Engineer to join our team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data cabling systems in various environments.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background, in structured cabling installation as well as a passion for surpassing customer expectations.

    Flotek distinguishes itself by offering excellent customer support backed up by innovative technical solutions. They aim to achieve this through constant innovation, listening to customer requests, and building a strong in-house team.
    Work from construction drawings, reading job diagrams, scopes and specifications
    Installations of network and structured cabling (Cat5e/6/6A & Fibre)
    Termination of cables on patch panels and modules
    Installation of PVC and metal trunking, conduit
    Testing with Fluke Testers
    Maintaining Quality standards whilst meeting agreed timescales
    Working safely at all times following Health & Safety policies
    Interacting with clients, ensuring the installation is done smoothly and with as little disruption as possible

    Job Experience Required:
    Proven experience in data cabling installation and maintenance, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
    Proficiency in reading and interpreting cabling diagrams and blueprints
    Experience with cabling tools and equipment, including cable testers, crimpers, and termination kits
    Basic testing knowledge and experience with Fluke (desirable)
    Have flexibility around working hours, including night work and overtime
    CSCS/ECS card (desirable)
    Company Van and tools
    CommScope training certification programme
    Staff Share Equity Scheme
