    Job Title:
    Application Architect

    Location:
    Central London (2-3 days a week onsite)

    Skills:
    Need strong experience with Java, Microservices, Kubernetes, Web Application Design, Kafka and Cloud environment.


    Description:

    As an Application Architect with a particular focus on applications, you will be responsible for facilitating the end-to-end lifecycle for applications development, supporting a major digital transformation programme.

    This programme size is approximately 50 resources in an onshore-offshore working model.


    Key responsibilities:
    Review business requirements, assess solution options and work with partner teams to document solution architecture design.
    Support the development and testing phases through to service transition and post go-live support.
    Architect software systems, provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our IT team.
    Develop conceptual solution architecture, logical and technical architecture documentation for proposed solutions.
    Provide architectural blueprints and technical leadership to our IT team.
    Work with application architecture teams to deliver the deployment architecture.
    Ensure that proposed solution architecture adheres to company security policies and standards, compliance, and governance frameworks.

    Present technical designs to technology design assurance boards to seek approval and ensure adherence to enterprise architectural guard rails.

    Your Profile


    Key skills/knowledge/experience:

    Require experience with Microservices Architecture, AML, web development, architecture patterns, CQRS patterns, strong in Kubernetes, cloud (any cloud experience) .

    Proven experience architecting software systems.
    Experience working on complex software projects.
    Expertise in building applications using NodeJS, redux, nextjs.
    Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS bootstrap.
    Experience in Integration Solution Architect, nodejs, nextjs, redux, css, scss, bootstrap, javascript.
    Experience in certificate configuration.
    Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across test and production environments.
    Experience with Cloud (Open shift Cloud Platform and Azure Cloud platform exposure is good to have).
    Experienced Document Application Architecture and artifacts.
    Excellent problem-solving skills.

    Good to have :
    Experience developing a range of different application architectures for a range of use cases.
    Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire application stack.
    A sound understanding of architecture principles and best-practice deployment patterns.
    Experience of working with client side as well as server-side solutions
