    Description

    Being a Team Manager at John Lewis gives you full responsibility for your branch and all the Partners within it. Our Team Manager roles suit those who are commercially minded and thrive on generating sales. You'll get huge satisfaction from motivating an entire team to deliver success for your branch.

    We're looking for a manager to join a branch and grow the team within it. So those who are genuinely enthused about helping Partners reach their potential will excel in their role. You'll lead and coach your team members, planning and organising their duties. By delegating tasks effectively, you'll help them to achieve their goals, whilst driving forward efficiencies for the branch.

    As well as developing the Partners around you, you'll also have a strong appreciation for the bigger retail picture. Your passion for selling and retail will delight our customers. By maintaining our brand values and pushing excellence in all areas of the branch, you'll deliver superb results. It's important that you have strong leadership and communication skills as a Team Manager. These will be essential. Especially when, on occasion, you take on the responsibility of Duty Manager and Deputy Head of Branch. Your ability to build relationships with other stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds will also be vital.

    We have a range of Team Manager jobs in retail store management as well as distribution. These cover different aspects of the business so roles and responsibilities can vary. Here are some job description overviews for our most popular Team Manager jobs.

    These are operational and customer-facing retail management roles. You'll lead a team of Visual Merchandising Partners and Selling Partners to deliver the John Lewis & Partners brand vision in branch. This role includes the management of both Visual Merchandising and Selling departments.

    These are customer-facing retail line management roles. A Team Manager appointed in this area will lead a team of Selling Partners to achieve the branch's operating plan

    Fleet Maintenance Manager Jobs

    Roles in this department will involve the maintenance, planning and execution of our home delivery and distribution fleets. This is for both our John Lewis & Partners and Waitrose & Partners businesses. Working in a modern workshop in Blakelands, you'll manage the day-to-day operation of maintaining our commercial vehicles.
