Due to growth and expansion of services, this is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and dynamic Teacher.Are you able to act as a positive role model for our boys?
Are you able to recognise and relate to the hobbies and special interests of our students and use these as the foundations to build positive relationships and curricular engagement? The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner and will teach in a topic based approach, where there is a strong focus on phonics, communication, language and vocabulary, and English and Maths.
They will be responsible for their own Learning Group and actively support students' social, emotional and academic developments embedded within the 24-hour curriculum.
The successful candidate will need to be able to organise learning outside the classrooms through learning opportunities, community visits, school outings or other events.
Demonstrate the ability to build good relationships based on trust with children and their families/ carers.Opportunities for success are provided through a diverse program of bespoke individual learning pathways and life skills across the 24-hour curriculum, which serve to develop resilience, skills and accreditation for life-long learning, happiness, and an improved quality of life.

Liaise and work in partnership with Occupational Therapy/Speech and Language Therapy.

Use data analysis to inform teaching and learning and whole school improvement.Be a creative and reflective teacher who inspires confidence in meeting the needs of our students.
Be highly motivated and able to contribute to collaborative working across the school.
Be able to lead and manage staff who work with a group of students in a team around the child approach.
Have experience of writing high quality long and medium-term curriculum plans, and cross-curricular maps.Experience of attending statutory annual reviews and review education, health and care (EHC) plans.
Have the ability to promote and celebrate diversity, collaboration, and equality in the school at all times.
Have a commitment to improving their own practice through engaging with the school's learning and development offer.
