    COMMERCIAL SUPPLY CHAIN ASSOCIATE UK/IE AFFILIATE

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    The Commercial Supply Chain Associate (CSCA) for the UK/IE affiliate is a key position for delivering superior customer value and enabling the organization to deliver improving business results. The CSCA facilitates the S&OP and forecasting cycle for the affiliate – and is a strong communicator at all levels and with multiple functions in the organization.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Facilitate the Affiliate Sales & Operations Planning ( S&OP ) process, driving cross functional and senior management alignment - to deliver robust forecasts and maintain health inventory levels. This includes execution of pre-S&OP + S&OP process, combining all inputs to generate a consensus SKU-by-SKU volume forecast and managing supply escalations as appropriate.
    • Responsible for demand and replenishment processes for the affiliate - using planning tools and working with supply partners to manage the inbound supply chain from supplier to the affiliate, including but not limited to freight and customs clearance + creating and managing Purchase Orders.
    • Effectively use tools and metrics to optimize inventory health and minimize inventory exposures as well as performing inventory management tasks such as inventory reconciliation, cycle counts and investigation on discrepancies; arrange write-offs in a timely manner as needed.
    • Provide direction to 3PLs, freight brokers and freight forwarders for priority execution needs, partnering with Transport/Intercompany Services team to ensure timely supply of product.
    • Build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships with Local Business Leaders, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
    • Implement, review and improve processes to achieve affiliate supply chain targets related to forecast accuracy, missed sales value, inventory losses.
    • Support the organization as required managing the launch of new products, as well as managing changes due to regulatory / legal / manufacturing reasons. There will also be a requirement to support improvement and development projects as appropriate.

    MAIN REQUIREMENTS

    Mandatory:

    • Record of success in supply chain, distribution or logistics management.
    • Demonstrable ability to work in a matrix organization: "lead by collaboration" .
    • Good ownership, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to interact and influence across all areas of the business, including senior management.
    • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to work independently and handle competing priorities + multiple stakeholders.
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills + the ability to work well as part of a multifunctional team.
    • Intermediate/advanced user in standard logistics/ERP software, and MS Office suite (highlighting MS Excel).
    • Fluent in written and spoken English.

    Preferred:

    • University Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a Commercial discipline.
    • Recognized Supply Chain qualification (e.g. APICS and/or CIPS certifications).
    • Supply Chain experience in Animal Health industry.
    • SAP ERP & MS Excel proficient.
