    Description

    We are seeking a research assistant to join a research team involved in exploring the barriers and enablers to reducing unnecessary tests and treatments in dental primary care and sustainable oral health. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic researcher to build on existing work and conduct important and interesting research. It will also allow the candidate to develop skills in literature reviewing, conducting qualitative research, intervention development and research priority setting. The study will provide several opportunities to write up the findings for presentation at conferences and publications.

    Your priorities will include:

    • Conducting a literature review
    • Recruitment of research participants
    • In-practice data collection
    • Facilitating focus groups
    • Conducting interviews
    • Analysing and interpreting qualitative data
    • Contributing to publications in peer-reviewed journals

    Who we're looking for a candidate with:

    • A good undergraduate degree and either postgraduate qualification or equivalent research experience
    • Experience of qualitative data collection and analysis
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Who is enthusiastic, professional and a good team player.
