    Job overview

    Our Medical Secretarial team is one of our four Clinical Operations Administration Teams who provide secretarial/administrative support to our organisation.

    Based at Oakham Surgery you will work alongside colleagues to provide a seamless service to our registered patient population. We utilise a variety of systems and our main patient system is SystmOne. to access our patient information. Good computer, keyboard and communication skills are essential to the role.

    Main duties of the job

    Our Medical Secretarial team is one of our four Clinical Operations Administration Teams who provide secretarial/administrative support to our organisation. We have a part time Support Secretary/Administrative Assistant vacancy available.

    The right person needs to have excellent typing/IT skills, be literate, responsible and a good communicator. He/she needs to work well and accurately and be able to work alone and as part of a team. The successful applicant will need to be flexible to cover for holidays/sickness if required.

    Person specification Experience

    • Previous experience in an administrative role.
    • Previous experience in administration or customer care undertaken on a volunteer/work experience basis

    Qualifications

    • Good standard of education ie minimum Grade C GCSE in both Maths and English or equivalent
