    Description

    1) Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering graduate or post graduate with a minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in Lead Design activities and act as Technical Focal for project(s).

    3) Possess Design Approver/Signatory authority on aircraft structures
    Define design repair solutions for production non-conformance on metallic and composite aerostructure parts and assemblies. Lead Design activities and act as Technical Focal for project(s).

    Define design solutions for new components / assemblies and modifications to existing components (Composites and metallic) according to cost, weight, quality, manufacturability, serviceability and performance.

    Prepare drawings and other engineering data required for the manufacturing of the product and data submittal to the customer.

    Produce ECN as required to support manufacturing, customers, quality, and certification.
    Ensure own and teams' quality of deliveries. Lead the progress review meetings with the customer project team to report progress on the work packages.
    Design Approver Signatory for Concessions (non-conformance) on metallic and/or composite aero structures
    Excellent knowledge of computerized design and analysis methods (CATIA V5)
    Good experience of aerospace Composite (honeycomb) /Metallic materials and manufacturing processes
    Good knowledge of Microsoft office
    Fair understanding of stress analysis principles
    Good English verbal and written communication skills
    Ability to work effectively within an integrated project team
    Knowledge of scripting using Matlab, VB,TCL/Tk, Python is an added advantage
