I have an exciting opportunity to work for a progressive, successful main building contractor.

The business is looking to appoint a BIM Coordinator to be based in their Offices in the Manchester region and on site.

The BIM Coordinator will fulfil all the requirements of projects with respect to BIM Co-ordination and Management and distribution of information, Project and Asset Information Modelling management, whilst ensuring that all relevant Company Group & Sector Specific Procedures and Policies are met, in accordance with the Integrated Business Management System incorporating the BIM Management processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

Undertake the Information Management function defined in ISO(phone number removed).
Attend and have active participation in the tender processes for projects.
Articulate the Employers/Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) for projects.
Capture the projects approach to BIM and form into the BIM Execution Plan

Where required, review & ensure the BIM scope of services within professional appointments are completed in conjunction with the Project commercial team members.

Create and collate a detailed mobilisation plan.
Understand and operate the systems imposed by the Client on the Project relating to Document Control and Design/BIM Co-ordination.
Establish Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDP) in conjunction with the Design Manager.

Establish the Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDP) to aid the development of the MIDP in conjunction with the Design Manager.

Monitor, update & distribute the Master Information Delivery Plan in conjunction with the Design Manager.
Maintain the BEP for amendments throughout related to the project life cycle.
