    Regional Development Consultant - South West c.£55k + Car allowance + Bonus


    My client is a thriving National IFA who is seeking a dynamic and experienced Training and Competence Manager, to lead the development and performance management of our Financial Advisers.

    The successful candidate will ensure the team delivers exceptional service to clients while adhering to regulatory standards and maintaining professional competencies in line with the Training and Competence programme and TCF strategy.

    nPrior experience within Financial Services is essential for this rolenPurpose of the Role:

    nCoach, train, and develop Financial Advisers to ensure high-quality client service and compliance with all regulatory requirements.nEnsure all Advisers possess the requisite knowledge, skills, and expertise to perform their roles effectively.


    nKey Responsibilities:


    nManage and oversee the training and development of a team of IFAs.nFacilitate induction training for new IFAs and conduct role-play assessments.nSupervise IFAs' performance, providing guidance from initial non-competence to competence.nPerform training needs analysis and identify skills or knowledge gaps.nAddress areas of underperformance, report findings, and recommend corrective actions.nDevelop and implement targeted development plans.nObserve and assess IFAs' advisory skills to ensure ongoing competency and identify further training needs.nReview client files pre-sale and post-sale, instruct remedial actions, and pinpoint development opportunities.nCollect and analyse management information to assess IFAs' performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).nConduct one-on-one development meetings with IFAs.nOffer compliance advice and support to help IFAs maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.


    nQualifications and Skills Required:


    nProven experience in training and performance management within the financial services sector.nStrong understanding of regulatory standards and a track record of maintaining compliance.nExcellent coaching and leadership skills.nAbility to identify training needs and develop effective solutions.nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
