Hybrid Opportunity - Large Organisation - Excellent Salary

Nigel Wright are working in partnership with a growing organisation based in Sunderland to recruit a Accounts Receivable Clerk This is an excellent opportunity to join a large organisation business reporting into the Financial Controller.

This is a key roleas part of the Finance team and will support all elements of Sales Ledger.

The Role
The main duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be:

  • Ensuring bulk and specialist invoicing is complete, accurate and timely
  • Processing invoices on a timely and accurate basis
  • Deliver customer information accurately and timely
  • Processing key customer invoices and supplementary information
  • Dealing with billing queries in a sensitive, but efficient manner
  • Ensuring that the sales ledger department provides a highquality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring that receipts are recorded correctly and allocated on a timely and accurate basis
  • Processing of account adjustments/cash allocation
  • Customer Account Reconciliations
  • Liaison with other colleagues to ensure that anomalies are investigated/queries dealt with in a timely manner
  • Investigation of credit balances
  • Other duties appropriate to the post

The Person
The desirable qualities of a successful Accounts Receivable Clerk will be:

  • Strong excel experience required
  • Must have finance experience within a professional environment

The Salary & Package
The salary and package of the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be:

  • Salary of up to £22,500 dependant on previous qualifications and experience.
  • Study Support if wanted
  • Above market holiday allowance
  • Excellent Pension
