    Description

    Import Logistics Executive
    £30,000 to £35,000 per annum DOE
    Tilbury
    9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday
    Hybrid opportunity after probation

    Join a leading freight forwarding company with over 45 years of experience in Far East Ocean imports. Our client excels in Air, Sea, and Road freight, providing comprehensive logistics solutions and is now looking to add to their team with an Import Logistics Executive .

    Role Requirements:

    • At least 2 years of experience with a small to medium-sized freight forwarder.
    • Proficient in CNS and Destin8; experience with Multi-freight software is preferred.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills and a friendly personality.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    • Strong team player with a dynamic approach.
    • Strong maths skills and excellent English.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, including shipping lines, hauliers, and depots.
    • Create and manage internal files accurately.
    • Generate and issue invoices promptly.
    • Process supplier invoices and address any discrepancies.
    • Monitor vessel arrivals to ensure timely coordination.
    • Arrange collections and deliveries, meeting customer deadlines.
    • Follow up after delivery to confirm customer satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities.

    • The industry is dynamic and ever-changing, so job responsibilities may evolve.
    • The first interview will occur at the Noble Recruiting office in Billericay, Essex.
