- Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 13:00
- Pension, healthcare after qualifying period
- Carry out the manufacturing and assembly of the company's products in accordance with production drawings and specifications.
- Piping fabrication and assembly
- Panel wiring
- Working to set timescale's and to the expected high quality standards.
- Identify and report defects or shortfalls in raw materials as well as components that are likely to cause delays in the production process.
- Identify and report opportunities to reduce production costs and timescale's.
- Maintain accurate documentary evidence of works processes carried out in accordance with the company's Quality Management System.
- Electrical assembly, panel wiring techniques
- Sound electro / mechanical knowledge or time served in a practical role that could offer transferable skills.
- Ability to understand and work from schematic drawings.
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience of basic assembly techniques including crimping, wiring, press fit jointing etc.
- Ability to use a range of hand tools (drilling, tapping, cutting etc).
- Competent user of IT and computer equipment
- Willing to undertake professional development training as required.
