Description
Working on behalf of our client based in Wrexham. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a permanent position. This role could be suited to a Mechanical Engineer looking to move into project management.Key Duties:
Managing the full life-cycle of mechanical engineering projectsDevelop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
Allocate resources effectively to ensure efficient project execution within budget constraints.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns.
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards and client requirements.
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, assessing impacts and implementing adjustments as necessary.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
Provide excellent technical support at all stages of the project.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
Degree educated in mechanical discipline at a minimumPrevious experience of managing mechanical projects or extensive experience in a mechanical engineer role with ambition to progress in their career.
Willingness to travel to sites across the UK when required.An excellent communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
Mechanical Design ExperienceWhat our client can offer in return:
Salary up to £56,000 per annum DOEMonday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
