    Job Description

    Working on behalf of our client based in Wrexham. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a permanent position.

    This role could be suited to a Mechanical Engineer looking to move into project management.

    Key Duties:

    • Managing the full life-cycle of mechanical engineering projects
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Allocate resources effectively to ensure efficient project execution within budget constraints.
    • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
    • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues or concerns.
    • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
    • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards and client requirements.
    • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, assessing impacts and implementing adjustments as necessary.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
    • Provide excellent technical support at all stages of the project.

    What we are looking for in the successful candidate:

    • Degree educated in mechanical discipline at a minimum
    • Previous experience of managing mechanical projects or extensive experience in a mechanical engineer role with ambition to progress in their career.
    • Willingness to travel to sites across the UK when required.
    • An excellent communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Mechanical Design Experience

    What our client can offer in return:

    • Salary up to £56,000 per annum DOE
    • Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
