    Description
    OCU Hornbill (Part of the OCU Group) currently have a position for an experienced Electrical Panel Builder.

    As we continue to grow through 2024, this has provided us with an opportunity to grow and develop our workshop based in our Neath depot.

    Assembly, construction, and wiring of Control Panels as per drawings, including use of hand tools and cutting of control panel apertures as per drawings.

    Work to be carried out in accordance with Hornbill Workshop Handover Documentation.
    Identification of any "As built" drawing discrepancies with Workshop Supervisor or Project Engineer.
    Complete control panel wiring checks and system testing in line with our Quality System Testing procedures.
    Attend site when requested to assist with commissioning or modifications.
    Undertake training as required to maintain or develop competency.
    Strong understanding of electrical control principles with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
    Proficiency in using hand and power tools and testing equipment.
    Ability to manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and complete tasks within the allotted time frame.
    Attention to detail is vital to ensure high-quality standards and compliance to regulations.
    Mechanical assembly experience.
