- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Physiology (Respiratory) or equivalent.
- ARTP part I certification, including clinical supervision of practice and competency assessment.
- Registration with RCCP or AHCS, or eligibility to register.
- Immediate life support training.
- ARTP part II or III certification.
- Competency certification in Overnight Oximetry.
- Competency certification in Continuous Positive Airways Pressure.
- Active registration on Spirometry register, including interpretation.
- Sound knowledge of clinical background, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures in Respiratory Physiology.
- Awareness of patient pathways, including 2WW pathways and breach dates.
- Familiarity with appropriate inter-trust result relay and handling information requests from GP/patient/private medical practices.
- Experience:
- Demonstrated considerable experience gained through clinical degree placements.
- Postgraduate clinical experience working autonomously.
- Experience working with the general public.
- Broad experience and competence maintained in all routine procedures.
- Experience of working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
