Description

They are currently seeking an Area Surveyor (HHSRS) on a 12-month fixed term contract, based in West Yorkshire with a salary of £40,534.20.The ideal candidate must have used NHF Schedule of Rates and have an extensive background in Social Housing.
Duties will include (but are not limited to): Covering 8 inspections/appointments per dayProviding technical expertise to the maintenance of the organisation's assets Specifying and managing the diagnosis and delivery of HHSRS remediations including Damp and Mould repairs identified through surveys or through customer referralsIdentifying and managing follow up repairs and reporting the effective coordination of planned and cyclical maintenanceEnsuring that customers receive a high-quality repairs service that delivers value for money and achieves high levels of customer satisfactionProviding forensic understanding of buildings, including diagnosis and pathology as well as stock performance across the Housing Association's portfolioCommunicating and demonstrating clear investment and divestment requirements through relevant diagnostics and surveying proceduresLiaising with stakeholders, such as contractors/developers/funders/local authorities and consultants Working closely with other members of the Asset Team, the Neighbourhood Surveyors and the Neighbourhood Teams to maximise the performance of assets Experience required:NHF Schedule of RatesPrevious experience carrying out damp and mould surveysExperience of identifying damp and mould causes and providing solutionsAble to deal with challenging situationsRewards and Benefits:Car allowance: 150g/Km £1318 per annum, g/kg £ per annum, g/km, £859.79 per annum, 185g/kg £630.51 per annum 30 day annual leave plus bank holidaysFlexible working daysWorking hours:37 hours per week Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
