    GUERNSEY - BANKING & FINANCE LAWYER - 7+ PQE
    Employer Garfield Robbins International Location Guernsey, Channel Islands Salary From £120,000 - £140,000 per annum + Bonus & Benefits (20% Tax) Closing date 31 May 2024

    This top tier Channel Islands and international offshore law firm has an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Banking & Finance lawyer to join their busy and thriving practice on Guernsey in a Senior Counsel position.

    Their highly rated teamfields extensive expertise in fund finance, asset finance (including real estate, aviation and shipping) and M&A finance, and acts for an impressive listof international lenders and borrowers, including premier banks, UK financial institutionsand alternative sponsors, on high-level international deals across these areas.

    The roleprovides a superb career opportunity for generalist banking lawyers and also to individuals seeking to break from more specialist banking practicesand broaden theirexperience on interesting and varied high-level international deals.

    Working alongside two leading partners in the field, the position will involveplaying a key role in helping to further develop the GuernseyB&F practice to become one of the market leaders in the Channel Islands; as such, itwill carry a high level of autonomy and offers excellent long term career potential.

    Applicants should ideally be UK, Commonwealth or Offshore qualified lawyers, with first rate technical legal skills and a commercial and client-centric approach topractice; experience of Guernsey or other offshore markets, while beneficial, is not essential.
