SouthTyneside and Sunderland FT Anaesthetic Department seeks applications for a team player for a Trust Grade Doctor Post at CT3/ST3level or equivalent.
You will participate in the provision of elective serviceprimarily based at Sunderland Royal hospital - a busy regional hospital with awide range of surgical sub-specialities: including Major Head & Necksurgery, General and Bariatric Surgery, Vascular surgery, Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Trauma & Orthopaedics and Urology.
On-callcommitments for this Post will be covering the six-bed Intensive Care Unit atSouth Tyneside Hospital on a 1:9 rota.This Post will allow you to further develop your clinicalskills and experience in a supportive and dynamic department with a trackrecord for excellence in training.
Clinical and educationalsupervision will be provided, with opportunities for development in leadershipand management, quality improvement and medical education.Youwill work in a team of trainees from the Northern School of Anaesthesia &ICM, Trust Doctors and Consultant Anaesthetists and Intensivists.
The Post isideally suited to those that have completed CT2 training in Anaesthesia and arelooking to further their skills and experience.

Commitment to training and continuing medical education (CME).
Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English.
Current ALS training or equivalent.
Extensive post-graduate training*, at least a substantial amount of which in relevant specialty OR equivalent experience and competencies.
