- Participate in the delivery of signalling systems configuration
- Ensure all activities are delivered on time and on budget
- Ensure IRSE logbook and Authority to Work are maintained and regularly reviewed
- Participate in delivery and improvement of signalling tools and processes
- HND or equivalent in an engineering or mathematical based subject or equivalent work experience
- Experience carrying out configuration works on one of the following MCS, VHLC, SMARTLOCK.
- Ability to write software in one of the following VB.NET, C# NET, C++
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) Certificate
- Ability to drive or willing to learn
- IRSE Assistant Designer License
- Working knowledge of signalling design process

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Engineer Technologist based in Derby or Birmingham. The Engineer Technologist will participate in the development, introduction and delivery of signalling processes and tools.
Role
The successful candidate will participate in the development and/or improvement of tools and processes within the business. They will also assist in ensuring all tools and processes remain fit for purpose and enable continuous improvement.
