    Description

    We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Manager for a Children's Home in Liverpool who can bring their leadership skills to the table. The ideal candidate is someone who cares deeply about making a difference in the lives of children and young people, ensuring they get the top-notch care and support they deserve.


    Responsibilities:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of care staff to provide high-quality care.
    • Ensure all staff are well-trained, supported, and supervised.
    • Foster a positive environment for both staff and children.
    • Meet each child's needs through personalized care plans.
    • Support the emotional, physical, and social development of the children.
    • Advocate for the best interests and well-being of the children.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
    • Maintain up-to-date records and reports as required.
    • Oversee the maintenance and safety of the home.
    • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, social workers, and stakeholders.

    Requirements:
    • Relevant qualification in social work, childcare, or related field.
    • Proven experience in managing a children's home or similar setting.
    • Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.
    • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
    • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
    • Enhanced DBS check dated within the last 12 months.
    • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check if not currently held.

    Notes:
    • Contract: Permanent
    • Hours: 40 hours per week
