As a Barclays Senior Wealth Management Executive you will support the Wealth Managers when acting as trusted advisors to clients with the primary focus being to actively seek opportunities that will contribute towards the growth of the team's portfolio of clients, adhering to pre-determined acquisition targets.

What will you be doing?:

Working on prospect sourcing, engagement & new client acquisition through focused outbound activity ensuring prospects are aligned to the most appropriate level
Enhancing relationship oversight of new clients to ensure accounts funded, specialists introduced and assets invested
Researching to build/maintain a continual pipeline of prospects through a range of tools including, but not limited to; LinkedIn, Artesian and Wealth Monitor
Providing regular engagement with BDM's and Prospect Management to identify opportunities and drive them to completion
Conducting cold and warm calls/introductions to external prospects and key business introducers, presenting the Barclays offering and being the face of the proposition
Coordinating with external & internal networking/prospecting events where relevant
Developing relationships with key internal & external stakeholders to build a strong network and effective opportunity stream for the Wealth Manager
Having ownership of internal mapping
Regular engagement to ensure data mining and book reviews with internal KBIs

Skills that will help you in the role:

Exceptional understanding of the general financial markets dynamics and current financial concepts
A high aptitude and understanding of the digital landscape, with the ability to effectively support client's changing needs in this area
MIFID Training, Competence accreditation, Level 4 IMC (Units 1 & 2), CFA Level Complete 25 hours of SPS relevant CPD per year to include 15hrs IDD relevant SPS
2 IAD modules
UK Regulations & Professional Integrity and Investments, Risk & Taxation modules

- follow up completion of the Financial Planning/Advice module within first year in role.

Where will you be working?

You will be working within Barclays Snowhill business quarter is prominently located at the heart of Birmingham's Colmore Business District, One Snowhill is adjacent to Snow Hill station at the Gateway to Birmingham's Central District.
