    The Aerospace Centre of Excellence, part of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, seeks to appoint a research developer to work within the international project


    ASTRAIOS:
    Analysis of Skills, Training, Research, and Innovation Opportunities in Space.

    The position would entail developing tools for data mining across several text and web based sources, to generate and analyse data sets for trends, and correlations.

    Strategic Autonomy in Developing, Deploying and Using Global Space-based Infrastructures, Services, Applications and Data.

    To be considered for the role, you will be educated to a minimum of Master degree level in a discipline related to Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science and have obtained a PhD or equivalent experience in computer science with specific expertise in data mining and data analytics.
