    JOB TITLE:
    Procurement Manager


    LOCATION:

    SALARY:
    £40,000 - £45,000

    The COMPANY
    Our client is a well-established supplier and manufacturer of materials handling and storage equipment. They offer a wide range of workplace equipment across various product categories such as PPE, screen protectors, recycling and waste bins, ladders, flooring, matting, cleaning and hygiene equipment, office furniture, access equipment, safety and security products, and more.

    The ROLE
    The successful Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
    • Managing procurement processes, quality assurance documentation, and procedures.
    • Setting re-order levels for stocked and non-stocked items.
    • Supervising the Inventory Team.
    • Reviewing and evaluating stock positions.
    • Collaborating with the Production Manager to optimize lead times.
    • Managing vendor relationships, sourcing new suppliers, and negotiating deals.
    • Enhancing trading terms and buying prices.
    • Implementing initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiencies.
    • Analyzing sales history for effective replenishment.
    • Occasionally traveling to meet key vendors in different regions.
    The CANDIDATE
    Our client seeks Procurement managers with:
    • 2-3 years of operational experience in managing diverse product ranges.
    • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
    • Ability to engage with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels.
    • Experience in a fast-paced environment with a diverse supply base.
    • Commercial acumen and a track record in cost savings.
    • Analytical skills and sound decision-making abilities.
    • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
