    About The RoleOptimus Plus now have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join their team on a full-time, employee basis.

    Based at their office in Aberdeen, a flexible hybrid working model is available for this position along with an excellent salary and benefits package.

    Key duties:


    Main point of contact for our clientIdentify and confirm project workscopes and ensure deliveryEnsure work is carried out in budget and to scheduleProvide cost estimates for projectCo-ordinate diverse engineering teamsOur Project Engineers can expect to work in a modern environment, enjoy flexible working and will be offered a range of working options to suit individual situations.

    About YouOur ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client are seeking Project Engineer candidates with previous experience managing and delivering multidiscipline projects / studies from Concept / FEED / Detail Design.

    Candidates with APM / PRINCE or equivalent / Project Management certification is desirable, or working towards obtaining certification. Candidates that have a discipline engineering background preferred.

    Wed like you to have a Degree in a relevant subject, a Project Management qualification and previous experience in Project Engineering.

    You need to have an understanding of the various engineering disciplines and knowledge of planning software.

    There will be the opportunity to work in other locations, both on and offshore so candidates may need to travel and hold the relevant certification to do so.
