    Description

    Key Purpose of aSecurity InstallationEngineer:

    As a core memberof our Engineering team you will be expected to provideinstallation and commission to our Security Systems such asIntruder Alarms CCTV and Access Control in accordance with thecurrent standards.

    We will help youachieve your goals with full remote technical support andcontinuous professionaldevelopment.

    Day to Dayresponsibilitiesinclude:

    • Installationof electronic security systems to a high standard including addsmoves and changes to existingsystems
    • You will possess goodtechnical knowledge on Intruder Alarms Access Control andCCTV.
    • Excellent knowledge inIntruder alarm signalling devices e.g. Emizon DualCom andWebway
    • Excellent communicationskills with customers whilst carrying out works at customersites.
    • Exceptional customer serviceskills and a clean tidy and professional work ethic at alltimes.
    • You will need to have theability to learn and adapt to changing environments products andrequirements.
    • Product and partsknowledge of associated alarm products and other securityequipment.
    • Being able to read andinterpret building plans and CADdrawings.
    • You will be workingclosely with the customer to meet the install requirements andspecifications
    • Effectivecommunication between customers KST management install supervisorystaff and the installation admindepartment
    • Be able to demonstrateyou have the ability to work alone or within a team covering adefined geographical area
    • Completeall provided documentation including site schematics/drawings andreturn to Installation admindepartment
    • Effective planning andmanagement of work.
    • You will beexpected to travel and work away onoccasions
    • Always adhere to Health& Safety and toolboxtalks
    • You will ensure the healthsafety and welfare of yourself and your team in accordance with theKST policy
    • Any other reasonablerequests from themanagement


    Requirements

    EssentialRequirements:

    • 3years in the electronic security industry with good workingknowledge all systems
    • Should befully conversant of NSIstandards
    • Fully conversant withNetwork/IP based and analogue CCTVsystems
    • Knowledge and experience ofaccess control and intrudersystems.
    • Applicants must have aclean full UK driving licence
    • Goodcommunication skills
    • Good customerservice skills
    • Be able to worknights and weekends
    • Be able to meettight deadlines working with other contractors onsite

    Essential Requirements: 3+ years in the electronic securityindustry with good working knowledge all systems Should be fullyconversant of NSI standards Fully conversant with Network/IP basedand analogue CCTV systems Knowledge and experience of accesscontrol and intruder systems.
