Our 'Outstanding' rated Maternity Unit at Queen Charlottes and Chelsea Hospital are looking for an experienced midwife to join their team in a hybrid role covering our labour ward and antenatal ward.
If you are a passionate and skilled midwife, we invite you to join our team in a dynamic, permanent hybrid role at the Lewis Suite Antenatal Ward and Labour Ward.
Staffed with two midwives, this position offers the unique opportunity to work closely within a small team, providing continuous and comprehensive care to expectant mothers.
Furthermore, you will collaborate with ward managers and matrons to continuously enhance service quality and safety, and engage with patients and service users to develop the service based on feedback.
We are here to support you along the way within your new role, with our support we hope to see you excel in your new role with us.
The post holder is expected to be an expert clinical midwife who will give advice and guidance on the midwifery care of women and pregnant people, babies and their families
To provide and delivery a high standard of midwifery care for in-patients during the antenatal period
Be a mentor to preceptor midwives, international midwives, students and support staff
To work collaboratively with the ward managers, bleep holders and matrons to provide and develop high quality, safe and effective service
To work collaboratively with patients and service user representatives to develop the service in response to feedback received including local and national initiatives
Maintain a high standard of professional expertise to ensure safe and evidence based care is provided in specific area
