    Job Description

    We are seeking a Global Head of Compliance for our client based in London

    This is a newly created role that will lead the Global Compliance offering, and will be responsible for the compliance strategy, as well as building and embedding best in class frameworks and processes. The post will hold SMF 16/17 responsibility, as well as managing the MLRO and a small team. The role will require hands on experience with the products they offer, with the gravitas to drive a robust compliance framework across the global business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Designing and delivering global compliance strategy
    • Owning and developing the regulatory framework
    • Submitting reports to the FCA and producing required management information
    • Ensuring all compliance and AML policies are up to date in line with regulatory developments.
    • Supporting all necessarily compliance and AML training for the wider business
    • Management, support and development of wider team
    • Managing the relationship with regulators including the FCA
    • Maintaining the compliance monitoring plan

    Candidate background:

    • Broad knowledge of all aspects of compliance
    • Strong reputation and previous working relationship with FCA
    • Knowledge of OTC commodities
    • Experience of leading a team
    • US regulation knowledge – highly desirable
    • Previous experience as SMF – Highly desirable

    This is hybrid role and office presence will be required 3 days per week (London)

    Salary - £150-200k base, + bonus, benefits
