    Job Title:
    Private Client Legal Assistant/Paralegal

    Location:
    Wiltshire

    Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

    Salary:
    Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)


    About the Role:
    We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our client's team as a Private Client Legal Assistant/Paralegal. The successful candidate will support a fee earner in handling various cases while delivering top-notch client care.


    Key Responsibilities:
    • Support the fee earner in day-to-day activities related to private client matters.
    • Organize and manage client files, ensuring proper documentation and accessibility.
    • Create legal documents, correspondence, and other necessary materials.
    • Perform legal research to aid ongoing cases.
    • Communicate with clients in person and over the phone, providing updates and addressing queries.
    • Schedule appointments, meetings, and other events for the fee earner.
    • Aide in estate administration, such as obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration.
    • Prepare wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
    • Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.

    Requirements:
    • Previous experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a private client department.
    • Strong organizational skills to manage various tasks and deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
    • Proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Professional demeanor with a focus on exceptional client service.
