    Description

    The Client

    Headquartered in London, this Magic Circle firm is one of the world's largest and most pre-eminent law firms. The firm's global Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice has around 600 lawyers based across multiple jurisdictions, who are experienced in the full spectrum of litigation, dispute resolution and regulatory issues.

    The Role

    The team has experience representing policyholders on big-ticket insurance coverage disputes across a range of areas including property, business interruption, construction credit political risk and directors' and officers' insurance. Due to increased activity, the team is looking to grow through the addition of a mid-level Associate.

    There will also be an opportunity to assist insureds with notifications to insurers, analysing coverage and presenting claims, and to become involved in representing major insurers and other clients in disputes and contentious regulatory matters.

    Requirements

    • Ideally 3-5 PQE but will consider a very strong 2 PQE.
    • Must have experience acting for the policyholders.
    • Practising at a top-rank practice.
    • Should be intellectually rigorous, have first-class legal ability and an outstanding academic track record.
