    Job Title: AssistantBuyer

    Location: Kent WA98032

    Duration: 6 to 8Months

    Shift Timing: 6am to3pm (Monday Friday)

    Summary:

    • Office/administrative task focused. Detail orientated.Works well with a dynamic team. Open to somewhat entry level ifcandidate meets the basic requirements.
    • Updating POs ordering non inventory items assistingsupplier set up shipment tracking. Communication withsuppliers.
    • Responsible for supplier orderplacement and followup related to purchased products as measured byontime conforming product delivery.

    Responsibilities:

    • Purchase materials part supplies and equipment followingestablished purchasing policies and procedures while optimizingprice delivery and terms.
    • Communicatespecifications investigate and identify qualified suppliers issuerequests for quotations and implement procurementaction.
    • Negotiate with suppliers for pricedelivery and quality.
    • Act as a liaison betweensupplier and internal customers.
    • Releasepurchase orders follow up and expedite as necessary evaluateproduct values according to knowledge of market price coordinatepurchasing activity with internal customers to maintain inventoryat planned levels and maintain all procurement records.
    • Make inquiries obtain quotes and pricing prepare and editpurchase requisitions issue purchase orders.
    • Perform administrative duties such as: prepare and editpurchase orders and bid requests match receiving tickets with POsand an accurate inventory of designated components.
    • Foster and maintain positive supplierrelationships.
    • Ensures commercial legalethical and contractual compliance in all procurementtransactions.
    • Good working knowledge of MSOffice Suite proficiency in Excel.
    • Mustpossess followup and accuracy with record keeping of transactionsand communications.
    • Professional verbal andwritten communication skills good organizational skillsdemonstrated ability to multitask with attention to detail andexcellent problem solving research and interpersonalskills.
    • Ability to work independently withdemonstrated selfinitiative.
