    We're looking for an experienced Demand Lead who will act as a single point of contact for demand management for In Life Changes at DCC.

    Reporting to the Head of In Life Change, the successful candidate will work with DCC's customer relationship team, REC CO (Retail Energy Code Company) and SEC (Smart Energy Code) on creating 'effective' demand, managing pipeline with Service Providers – with particular emphasis on strong medium to long term planning (i.e., You will also oversee associated resource planning to drive ongoing change, while ensuring operational performance is optimised through understanding and management of backlog of changes.

    Define policies and processes for discovering, analyzing, planning, controlling and documenting the need to carry out and co-ordinate impact assessments of demand across the business and with external Service Providers in line with regulatory requirements outlined in the Smart Energy Code (SEC).


    • Implement demand management analysis and planning activities to effectively and proactively drive 'good demand' from SEC and REC.
    • Be responsible for capacity and resource planning to ensure resources are effectively utilized, delivery risks are mitigated and changes are delivered in a cost-effective manner.
    • Drive best practice and provide thought leadership to help stakeholders adopt and adhere to the agreed demand management approach.
    • Manage the process of integrating demand management with operational change delivery processes.
    • Experience of planning / forecasting.
    • A strong understanding of the IT project lifecycle and proven portfolio management experience.
