Description

Our client, a Maritime and Defence supplier is looking for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join them on an initial 6-month contract at their site in Greenford.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold the British nationality.
6-month initial contract.
Fully onsite in Greenford with occasional visits to Loudwater.
Inside IR35, rates are open to negotiation.

Quality Inspection monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a company. The function will conduct tests, analyses measurements, and oversee production processes.

The Goods inwards inspector is responsible for ensuring that materials and equipment, which pass through his/her control are:

Inspected and handled in accordance with the company operating standards, ensuring goods are adequately packaged to prevent in house damage.
Maintaining documentation controls in support of the Goods Inwards Inspection processes to which he/she is assigned.
Participate in the 5S and continuous improvement process and initiatives.
Able to conduct CMM inspection and support management of Calibration tools
Reporting all NCs (Non-conformances) issues in the MRB platform and returning defectives back to the suppliers/vendors are rework or replacement.
Operator roles work under the guidance of a supervisor to perform operations duties safely and effectively and complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
These roles perform a range of clearly defined procedures, and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience. Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval. Has developed skills through formal training and/or work experience.
