A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading Financial Planning practice based in their Leeds office as a Financial Planning Assistant.

This will provide an interesting and varied role for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator looking for their next career move.

Key accountabilities:

  • To provide first line administrative and technical support to Financial Planning Consultants who deal with pensions, investments, tax planning and protection;
  • To be the main point of contact for clients and maintain a high level of service at all
times;

  • Providing documentation ahead of client meetings, obtaining illustrations and valuations.
  • Obtaining relevant fund and provider research relating to proposed advice;
  • Compiling suitability reports based on the advice being given;
  • Processing new business, liaising with third parties as needed;
  • Ensuring timely completion of compliance requirements;
  • Responding to client enquiries;
  • Maintaining records on XPlan;
  • Liaising with life offices and providers;
  • Carrying out other administrative related tasks as required in support of the Financial Planners.
Working in a team environment supporting your colleagues.

Skills needed:
Ideally applicants will come from a similar background with knowledge of pension and investment administration. Those working towards the R0 exams or the level 4 Diploma are particularly welcomed, however this is not essential.
Good written and oral communication skills;
General IT skills;
Ability to compile reports.
