    Job Title: Junior Laboratory Technician

    Job Description:

    Overview:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting operations by performing administrative tasks, repairing and calibrating pipettes, as well as refurbishing pipetting heads. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a cutting-edge scientific environment.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Administrative Tasks:

    Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of laboratory equipment and supplies.

    Organize and manage documentation related to pipette repair, calibration, and refurbishment processes.

    Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow within the company.

    2. Pipette Repair and Calibration:

    Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with pipettes, ensuring timely and accurate repairs.

    Perform routine calibration procedures on pipettes to maintain precision and accuracy.

    Keep detailed records of all repair and calibration activities.

    3. Refurbishment of Pipetting Heads:

    Disassemble, clean, and refurbish pipetting heads according to established procedures.

    Replace worn or damaged components with precision to ensure optimal performance.

    Conduct quality checks to guarantee the functionality and reliability of refurbished pipetting heads.

    4. Calibration of Pipetting Heads:

    Calibrate pipetting heads to meet industry standards and ensure accuracy in dispensing volumes.

    Document calibration procedures and results in compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Work closely with the calibration team to maintain consistency and accuracy in calibration processes.

    Requirements

    Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

    Ability to follow established protocols and standard operating procedures.

    Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

    Not essential but would ideally like

    Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and principles.

    MS Office and ERP skills

    Capacity to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
