About the Role
The Finance Operations team supports in the delivery of the finance service for Leicestershire Traded services, Adults and Communities Adult Social Care Payments, the Children and Family Services Disabled Children's Direct Payments and invoicing and collections.
We have 1 vacancy for a Finance Support Assistant grade 6. You will be part of a large progressive and diverse team, who will work in a fast paced and modern finance environment to enable the collection of £56m of social care income for 6000 Service Users, and £160m of expenditure per annum with 500 Providers. Effectively the Finance Operations team integrate people, technology and robust processes, to focus on our customer's financial needs to drive our performance and we take pride in delivering a quality service.
The role is in the following area:
Leicestershire Traded Services. The tasks carried out within the team fall under accounts payables and accounts receivables. The tasks include scheduled invoice runs, recharging internal departments and external customers and arranging timely and accurate payments. Daily Reconciliations will need completing and finance journals to be uploaded to the system.
