    Purpose of the Marketing/ New Business Manager

    As the sole Marketing & New Business Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the company's transport and warehouse services. This role involves market research, campaign development, customer relationship management, and collaboration with various departments to enhance brand visibility and increase market share.

    Overall, the objective of this role is to embody and elevate the brand presence, helping our client to continue to secure, exciting and lucrative business.

    This a blank canvas of a position and requires someone to fully embrace the marketing strategies moving the business forward and making the role your own.

    Main duties and responsibilities of a Marketing/ New Business Manager

    Strategic Planning:

    ·Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

    ·Identify and target new market opportunities and customer segments in the transport and warehouse industry.

    ·Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

    Campaign Management:

    ·Design, implement, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events, etc.).

    ·Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, website content, and social media posts.

    ·Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as necessary.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    ·Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.

    ·Develop customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer retention.

    ·Conduct customer feedback surveys to gather insights and improve service offerings.

    Market Research:

    ·Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

    ·Utilise data analysis to make informed marketing decisions and predict future market trends.

    ·Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management based on research findings.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    ·Work closely with the management team to develop and support lead generation activities.

    ·Collaborate with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure marketing strategies align with operational capabilities.

    ·Communicate marketing goals, strategies, and performance to internal and external stakeholders.

    Experience/knowledge requirements for a Marketing/ New Business Manager

    ·Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to forward plan.

    ·Creative, with the ability to understand our brand, its values, and engrain them into all collateral, digital, social and analogue.

    ·Passionate, unafraid to propose new initiatives/ideas.

    ·Able to work well both independently and within a team.

    ·Impeccable time management skills, and this ability to work to deadlines.

    ·Attention to detail.

    ·Knowledge of Transport

    ·Personable, a team player.

    ·Passionate, driven, motivated and able to thrive to make the role your own.
