We are recruiting for a Patient Registration Clerk who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This role is pivotal for the smooth running of the department, supporting the Multidisciplinary Team Patient Pathway Facilitators to collect and input accurate and timely data and preparing for MDT meetings. If you have good organisational skills and you are able to interact with people at all levels this job will be what you are looking for.

Main duties of the job
To receive referral letters and documentation from secretarial teams, electronic referrals from Casper system, and paper chemotherapy referrals
To register patients onto Lorenzo system
To add referrals to Lorenzo, taking care to ensure referrals are linked correctly to existing pathways, or new pathways created in line with 18 weeks RTT rules
To add patients to ICE system to enable investigations to be requested
To create patient notes, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly
To act as main point of contact for changes to patient demographic information on Lorenzo
To recognise the time sensitive nature of patient referrals and ensure they are dealt with quickly, efficiently and accurately
To assist with the collection of notes required for MDT meetings
General office administration and duties
To attend departmental meetings as required

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
ENHT is seeking to maintain and expand the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre staff as we move to an exciting new future.
We welcome applications from those who would relish the opportunity to be part of new and developing cancer service, building on the excellent reputation, research and patient experience the Cancer Centre already delivers.
In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,314 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.
