    The Programme Manager will report to the Joint Head of Resourcing Transformation and provide project management skills to develop a collaborative bank model for NBT & UHBW's temporary workers, with an opportunity to expand the service offer more widely across the ICB.

    The Programme Manager will work closely with the temporary staffing teams at North Bristol NHS Trust and University Hospital Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and the Collaborative bank, Acute Provider Collaborative Team, Resourcing, HR, and workforce Leads to:


    • Implement the pilot for the digital collaborative bank and to demonstrate the impact and benefit through clear measurables underpinned by data led insights
    • Develop a package of support that delivers a range of improvements from a bank worker experience perspective. Develop and lead a plan to optimise engagement across both Trust's bank operations team to support a culture of collaboration that will engender the effective delivery of the programme

Provide direction for the development and alignment of Standard Operating Procedures relating to Bank and Agency staff across the two Trusts

    The Acute Provider Collaborative purpose is to use our collective experiences, expertise, and resources, we will work together to ensure that we provide the best care for patients, support, and development for our staff and that we are active partners to the wider community.

    Training, Knowledge and Experience
    Educated to master's level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in healthcare settings
    Postgraduate / Prince 2 qualification or equivalent experience
    Evidence of continuing professional development
    Must understand the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this on engagement
    Demonstrable experience of successful leading transformational projects or continuous improvement activity ideally in a temporary staffing or resourcing environment

    Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive and contentious information, negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult and controversial issues, and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups.

    Persuade board and senior managers of the respective merits of different options, innovation and new market opportunities including experience of writing and presenting high quality board papers and business cases

    Good use of available information sources to enable efficient and effective planning
    Management Skills
    Skills for direct line management and job management.

    Skills for delivering results through managing through others and using a range of levers in the absence of direct line management responsibility.

    Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of equality of opportunity and diversity taking into account and being aware of how individual actions contribute to and make a difference to the equality agenda.

    Previously responsible for a budget, involved in budget setting and working knowledge of financial processes
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office functions
