    Description

    This is an exciting and very good time to be joining one of the UK's most progressive and professional insurance companies operating in the UK today.

    For the role as a Fleet Development Underwriter based in their Leeds city centre operation, you will be required to develop new business opportunities and also handle a portfolio of an existing portfolio.

    The key objective is to focus on profitable growth, generating new business, and retaining your existing renewal portfolio, whilst maintaining excellent service standards at all times and building long standing customer relationships.

    You would be responsible for looking after key broker Fleet accounts in Yorkshire & the Northeast and be able to trade and negotiate effectively.

    The right candidate will be extremely approachable, confident, and capable of delivering outstanding levels of service both internally and externally, over the telephone and face to face, as the role will encompass a range of external customer meetings.

    Very competitive basic salary, bonus incentive and pension plus other employee benefits would be provided as standard. ACII or a commitment to continuous professional development would be advantageous.
