Job Description:
nInforma Connect is embarking on an ambitious transformation of its customer buying journey.
Over the course of a multi-year transformation, we are setting up a templated L2C (Lead to Cash) journey aligned to product types and customer personas and supporting the business in the change and adoption of the new infrastructure.nWithin the transformation portfolio, we have an Assisted Sales Programme Manager role which will manage the delivery of the assisted sales journeys for all products and personas that aim to be completed by 2025.
The role will be responsible for working with the shaping/design, delivery and change/adoption CoEs to design, manage and track the assisted sales programme.
nQualifications:
nTransformation is a multi-disciplinary function that facilitates the planning and execution of strategic change initiatives, including Merger & Acquisition (M&A) that comprise of five portfolios and several integration programmes.
nKey areas of responsibility and accountability are:
nProgramme Management:
nCollaborating with cross-functional teams and Informa Group to ensure alignment with the commercial portfolio strategies and goals.nLead the planning, execution and monitoring of assisted sales-related projects to achieve strategic objectives.nDevelop programme roadmaps, timelines, deliverables and milestones in alignment with commercial portfolio goals.
nStakeholder Management and Change Management:
nIdentify, build and maintain good relationship with stakeholders including senior management, shaping squad, delivery teams, adoption team, transformation teams and external partners.nBalance the management of stakeholders and management for stakeholders to adjust expectation and impact.nProvide regular and timely updates on programme progress, deliverables, milestones and financial performance to stakeholders.nManage the change process related to the programme initiatives.
nGovernance, Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
nEstablish programme and project approach, structure and processes as well as governance forums to ensure alignment and manage delivery.nDefine scope, objectives and deliverables for each project within the programme.nEstablish teams and assign responsibilities.nProvide leadership, guidance and motivation to programme team members.nFormalise programme closure, program acceptance and conduct programme review as well as document lessons learned from the programme.
nRisk Management:
nIdentify, assess and determine risk strategy of programme risks and manage issues effectively.nEnsure all projects within the programme are following Informa Risk Management Framework and Informa Risk Policy.nDevelop risk management plans to address potential challenges.
nPlan, Delivery and MI Reporting:
nDefine, facilitate and monitor the programme level plan in terms of budget, deliverables, resources and quality as well as develop critical path views to agreed transition points and high-level dependency network that roll-up from projects and/or workstreams' plans.nManage risks, issues and take corrective actions at programme level, escalating to Portfolio Director and/or Programme Steering Committee if required.nReport status and progress at agreed intervals to Programme Steering Committee and other key stakeholders as required.
nSkills and experience:
nStrong Agile setup and management experience is essential.nPrevious experience as a Technical Delivery Manager would be ideal to help facilitate delivery thought this role is not accountable for Technical Delivery.nStrong leadership, senior stakeholder management and the ability to collaborate cross-functional teams is necessary.nA strong communicator who is confident liaising at all levels internally and externally.nThe ability to lead, motivate and inspire the programme teams to achieve their objectives.nGood understanding of change, project and programme management methodologies.nEffective problem-solving skills to address issues and obstacles that may arise throughout the program lifecycle.nThe ability to optimize risk to stay within the risk threshold with the likelihood of delivering the expected benefits.nProficiency in PPM software and tools.
nKnowledge and Qualifications:
n8-10 or more years' experience in Programme Manager roles especially in either corporate or retail environments.nExperience in managing large-scale or multi-year transformation type of programme.nExperience managing programmes with international or cross-cultural environment will be beneficial.nBachelor's or Master's degree in Strategic Project Management, Engineering or IT is preferrable.nProfessional qualifications such as Programme Management Professional (PgMP) certificate or MSPProfessional is of an advantage.
