    Facilities Manager

    Role Summary / Purpose and Scope The purpose of this role is to actively assist the Client Director in the management of the Edinburgh Technopole Science Park and to deliver a first class service to both occupiers and clients.

    The role will involve managing all operations, compliance, marketing, external positioning and exposure of the park within the academic and industry world in addition to supervising the operational teams and ensuring that the highest standards of management, maintenance and service are maintained, whilst having due regard to expenditure and current legislation.

    Oversee and manage site communications with occupiers, wider community and scientific community.
    Seeks to improve and enhance the delivery of client service.
    Monitors budget performance at high level across the park

    Foster relationships with the wider community including local authorities and govt bodies, local business community and local and national scientific and business community.

    Leads from the front, supports and identifies change and controls and enhances change management, represents MAPP and clients values.

    Ensures compliance with the highest standards, policies and procedures.

    Working with the site teams and the client to achieve this and helping set a strategy for the year in conjunction with the Regional Director.

    Self-management, including showing initiative, being proactive and meeting deadlines.
    Great service delivery, including working in partnership with internal and external individuals and good written and verbal communication.
    Network of contacts within industry or academia preferred
    Customer Service experience
    Compiling and managing large service charge budgets
    30pm Monday - Friday
    Salary Range (Based on Experience) GBP 37,000 - GBP 46,000per annum, depending on experience.
