Description
They are looking for an Estimator with strong customer-facing skills to join their team near Slough on a permanent basis.1-5 years' experience working as a technical EstimatorKnowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, welding, machining and similar materials Experience in Laser Cutting would be beneficial but not required Able to understand technical drawings and produce detailed quotations Strong customer facing skills, with the ability to develop relationshipsExcellent attention to detailProficient with using Microsoft Office Excellent communication and problem-solving ability The ability to work well alone as well as part of a teamThe Estimator role will involve:Working to technical drawings and models to produce detailed quotationsReactive sales, answering phone calls and emailsMaintaining and developing relationships with customersConverting successful quotes into ordersReading and interpreting engineering drawingsWorking within the Sales teamFeeding back cost data into estimating tools and then keeping these updatedGetting sign off from all disciplines so that you can deliver against the prepared budgetIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
