- Taking instructions and effectively coordinating the deal flow with all relevant stakeholders (Leadership team, Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and others) for smooth contract negotiation and signature process
- Managing business contract queries
- Helping relevant stakeholders understand and mitigate certain risks associated with various contract terms and provisions
- Defining the approval process and sign-off in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Tracking contractual obligations and compliance status
- Coordinating the contractual routine, such as producing reports on the execution and performance of contracts with clients/suppliers, and other administrative and management tasks
- Negotiating issues with guidance from the legal department and internal policies
- Providing information about contracts to relevant stakeholders and external counsels
- Managing RFP processes, bid responses, procurement questionnaires and KYCs;
- Sharing contract knowledge with all the relevant stakeholders, by conducting training and acting as an advisor to other areas
- Effectively managing the contracts to ensure the protection of the company's interests, through active management, financial monitoring, documentation and communication control, and support to lawsuits and disputes
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of contracts
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a contract manager/analyst/administrator, handling complex client/customer contracts, distributorship agreement, supply agreements, NDAs
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating varied commercial contracts in a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment
- University's degree, preferably in a business or technical discipline, or other relevant experience
- Ability to recognise issues and the commitment to follow through to ensure that they are resolved
- Good abstract thinking and ability to see things from someone else's perspective
- Ability to work collaboratively with legal counsels, Sales and other internal areas
- Professional demeanour and sensitivity to client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Working understanding of key commercial contract and risk management concepts
- Understanding of commercial and contractual law
