    About the job

    As a CNC Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing all CNC programs to the machines. You will engineer a systematic way of manufacturing all parts supporting cost saving improvements and standardisation. Working with other Manufacturing Engineers you will uphold a best working practice implementing 5S methods. You will design stage drawings specifying tolerances that will be released into production. Working as part of the NPI team you will log all elements to manufacture new products supporting PFMEA and MSA studies. The ability or the desire to program CNC machines via a CAD/CAM package is a must (training will be provided). A cost saving attitude will be adopted to all manufacturing aspects ensuring it can be repeated in a robust manor.

    What will you be doing?

    As a Manufacturing Engineer the main duties will be

  • Be KPI driven to execute business and personal objectives working with your direct manager.
  • Support active projects – Tool management, CIP, Supplier selection, Product outsourcing.
  • CAPEX Justification.
  • Generate CAM programs for all components.
  • Implement governance of tool life ensuring consumable spend and usage can be planned.
