Electrician - Van and tools included

North Wales Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled electrician to be part of our team. The perfect fit will be in charge of setting up, maintaining, and fixing electrical systems in various locations in and around the rail (mainly back of house) and it's group district estate. This role needs someone with a good grasp of electrical principles, solid problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment following local building codes and safety regulations.
Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals to understand the layout of electrical systems.
Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to detect and address issues proactively.
Resolve electrical problems efficiently and collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure project success.
Keep accurate records of work done, materials used, and time spent on each task.
Provide guidance and training to apprentices and less experienced electricians when necessary.
Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical systems and technology.
Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their requirements, proposing solutions, and addressing concerns.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or technical school is preferred.
Valid electrician license or certification is a must.
At least 5 years of experience working as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Experience in the rail sector would be advantageous.

Proficiency in electrical principles, codes, and safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals effectively.
Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Physical stamina and dexterity to work in different conditions such as confined spaces, heights, and outdoor environments.
Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.

Location:

The job will cover North Wales but efforts will be made to plan jobs efficiently and reduce travel from your home address. However, occasional additional travel may be necessary for emergencies to meet targets and SLA times.
