    Are you looking to progress your career by working on Britain's biggest construction project?

    Balfour Beatty VINCI is working with a range of organisations to design and build 90km West Midlands stretch of HS- Britain's new high speed railway.

    Our work is essential to enable HS2 trains to travel between London and Birmingham as well as continue their journey up to Manchester.

    It's an incredibly exciting time to join us - we're at peak construction with work really ramping up on a broad range of assets including bridges, tunnels and viaducts.

    This role will be based on site in locations around Kingsbury and Lichfield The northernmost site of the West Midlands stretch of HS2 runs from Water Orton to Lichfield.

    The sites are mainly rural and will link HS2 to the West Coast Mainline track.
    Lead the civil engineering activities for the Shafts, Portals and

    Pumping Stations:

    Manage the delivery of a fully integrated and coordinated design for the civil structures including the pre-cast elements ready for construction / installation.

    Provide support to the team and ensure that the construction design deliverables, including materials comply with engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports.

    Ensure that the design is adequately interfaced with other elements (Waterproofing, Earthing & Bonding, M&E...).

    Ensure the construction designs take full account of the construction methodology, sequence and temporary works, under the direction of the Package Manager.

    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers.
    Familiar with BIM environment.
    Experience working on similar projects.
    CSCS card.
