    Description
    Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Legal Cashier for a law firm based in Manchester City Centre. This is a full time, permanent job role with hybrid working available. You will have previous legal accounts experience and will benefit from company pension, life insurance and private medical insurance.
    The incoming Legal Cashier will have minimum 3 years' experience within legal accounts. Daily posting of office and client bank transactions
    Handling of petty cash and reconciling each month against the nominal account
    Processing of purchase ledger invoices and arranging payment of the same
    Processing of client ledger disbursement invoices and arranging payment of the same
    Creating bills and posting bills to the relevant client ledger including credit notes
    Processing staff expense claims
    Taking card payments by telephone and processing the same
    Dealing with client and supplier ledger queries
    Handling of business and client banking
    Posting of HMLR fees, HMCTS PBA Account court fees and Companies House fees
    Maintaining and updating the HMCTS PBA Account spreadsheet and reconciling the same against the nominal account
    Identifying and posting client to office transfers on client ledgers and processing the weekly transfer journal
    The successful Legal Cashier will have strong communication skills both written and spoken with a 'can do' attitude. 3+ years legal accounting experience.
    ~ Strong experience with Bank Reconciliations.
    ~ Well experienced on Excel.
    ~ Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules.
