Mechanical Engineer - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom - ECM Selection
Description
Develop micron scale test and manufacturing equipmentOur client designs, develops, and manufactures cutting edge technologies at scale that have uses in multiple industries.
These products rely on precision engineering and innovative electronic control systems to provide features and functionality not found anywhere else.
But precision engineering is not sufficient if the designs cannot be manufactured and tested to the same level of accuracy.
You will be working collaboratively with other manufacturing engineers as well as engineers specialising in product design, control theory, and electronics to ensure every aspect of a design is considered.
You will be responsible for planning and prioritising your own work and with multiple product pipelines, you will often find yourself working on multiple tasks in parallel.
A good degree (1st or 2:1) in Mechanical Engineering or similar from a top university (Russell Group or similar) with a good understanding of mechanical fundamentals along with some knowledge of mechatronics and electronics
You will be joining a friendly and welcoming team who value their company culture and celebrate differences as a means to strengthen the team.
